This is a place of love, peace and harmony. Discussions and opposing opinions are fabulous, and make it fun. My posts are typically about relationships between characters on TV shows ranging from scifi, scifi fantasy to historical fiction and legends. There are occasional commentaries on other shows or what is happening in the world today.

So I have finally updated my quotes:

"I like my money where I can see it....Hanging in my closet."-Carrie Bradshaw

Fringe, 5.01: Olivia meets her now grown daughter, after waking up from being 20 years in amber
Etta: "I always thought that I was four."
Olivia: (hugging her) "three years, one month, five days."

"I thought that if I could get over her, I could get over anything. I could endure, conquer, be a man. Stand up to any and all kinds of punishment. I clung to an empty spinning bed for months, and that was when I finally realized how much I loved her. If I needed all that strength, what was the point? I needed to be with her."
Romo Lampkin, interviewing Caprica-Six, "The Son Also Rises", BSG, Season 3

"Don't you find it interesting Jessica, how the sins of the mother bloom in the children they bear?"
Princess Wensicia Corrino to Lady Jessica Atreides, "Children of Dune", upon her arrival on Arrakis, and noting the possession of Alia (one of my absolute faves)

"Its the lies that undo us."
Carrie Mathison interrogating Nicholas Brody, Homeland S2.04 "Q&A"

"I’m sorry that I don’t have a photographic memory, but my brain is too busy being awesome."
Donna to Harvey, “Suits”

One of my favorite Arya scenes in season 2 GOT:
"A man owes three; the Red God takes what is his lovely girl, and only death may pay for life. You saved me and the two that I was with. You stole three deaths from the Red God; we have to give them back. Speak three names, and the man will do the rest. Three lives I will give you, no more, no less."
"The Ghosts of Harrenhal", Game of Thrones, 2.5.

Jaqen H'ghar to Arya Stark when they make a pact. She chooses "the Tickler", as her first death. When she sees the deed has been done, and Jaqen keeps his word, you see Arya looking up and then down, with a little smile on her face, because now she knows what power feels like.
